Blackberry farm is a well known established farmshop and cafe located on the families farm in Milton Damerel, Devon. They had a website already which was quite old and they couldn’t manage it at all which made things very difficult for them. They also wanted to start selling their produce online and were looking for an e-commerce solution that would fit in with the rest of the website, while also being manageable.

The website is built on WordPress & Woocommerce which allows them to edit their entire website themselves and also manage their products without developer assistance. However, they were in a similar situation to my other client The Chocolate Florist where they didn’t have the time or manpower to populate all 1,400 products right away. So, they decided to follow the same path as The Chocolate Florist and turn the website into an online catalogue that shows their products with purchasing disabled. Later down the line once they are settled and have the time to populate all their products, puchasing can be re-enabled and take online payments.
